Game Control: ‘GTA 6’ will Initially only be released on Console, ‘Phasmophobia’ 2025 Road map Unveiled

Console: Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to new games in the upcoming days. Kingdom Two Crowns will be available for Standard and Ultimate Game Pass level subscribers. Avowed will be available for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Ultimate subscribers will also have access to game rewards for Stumble Guys. However, on Saturday, February 15, 2025, several games are set to leave Game Pass. A Little to the Left, EA Sports UFC 3, Merge and Blade, and others will no longer be available through the Xbox Game Pass.
GTA 6 will not initially be available on PC, but will first release solely on consoles. Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick claims that the game will help console sales, which struggled in 2024. Zelnick is predicting an increase in console sales in 2025, however, he is unsure of the potential consequences of President Donald Trump’s proposed tariff on Canada and Mexico.
PlayStation Plus subscribers have access to three new games available until Monday, March 3, 2025. Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World: Re-Pac, are all available, however they have been met with mixed reactions.
Phasmophobia has unveiled its 2025 roadmap. Kinetic Games has promised to make the horror game more scary. Ghost Hunters will now be allowed to collect different types of evidence, such as videos, and sound recordings. They will join the photos under a Media tab, which will replace the Photos tab. The map will also receive updates, and more holiday events are planned for players. The console release has already reached 2 million copies sold.

Mobile: Infinity Nikki’s upcoming outfits have leaked allowing players to view them before being released. Infinity Nikki’s 1.2 update has already launched several free outfits. The current banners have two 5-star outfits named Skyward Bouquets, and Fireworks Prelude.
Yuji Naka, Co-creator of Sonic the Hedgehog who was arrested after an insider trading scandal has returned to announce an update for Pirates of Coin. The largely unknown game was created by a studio Naka founded in 2006 and is 8 years old. Naka was arrested in 2022 over allegations of Insider Trading and was given a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence.
EA Sports UFC Mobile 2 will shut down on Tuesday, March 13, 2025. Players can play all available game modes until the shutdown date. The game's online service will stop receiving updates. After the shutdown, players will lose game-related data and content. EA will not be providing refunds unless it is legally required.

PC: The Sims 1 and 2 were rereleased by EA to celebrate the Franchise's 25th anniversary. The long-requested release is available on Windows 10 and 11, through the EA App and Steam. EA Play Pro members will have access to both games. The games can be purchased separately or together in a bundle. A Blast from the Past event has also been released to celebrate the anniversary. The event is free for all players and runs for 6 weeks. Players can collect limited-time items, clothing, and more.
Civilization 7’s new patch has disabled PC, and console crossplay temporarily. Firaxis claimed this was to expedite updates. The patch came before the game was officially released due to early players' complaints. Crossplay between Xbox and PS consoles will continue to be available.
Steam will now label early-access games that have not been updated for more than a year. This might alert potential players to games that have been abandoned. This can help players avoid becoming invested in a game that will never be fully released.
