The Box: e.Tv announces their primetime schedule, release dates for upcoming K-Dramas you need to see!

Africa: Starting Monday, April 7th, 2025, e.TV updated its primetime schedule, shifting shows to new slots after Isiphetho ends. The Afrikaans telenovela Kelders van Geheime moves to 18:30, with Season 2 premiering on 5 May. To fill the gap left by Isiphetho, e.tv and eExtra are pushing shows back by 30 minutes. Annekan Die Swa Kry shifts from 17:00 to 17:30, while Kelders van Geheime takes the 18:30 spot.

On e.TV:

  • House of Zwide stays at 19:00 

  • Scandal! remains at 19:30

  • e.tv News keeps its 20:00 slot

On eExtra:

  • Gelukbringers moves to 19:00

  • Doodsondes shifts to 20:00

  • Op Dun Ys now airs at 21:00

Asia: This rom-com drama titled Pump Up the Healthy Love follows Do Hyeon Jung (Lee Jun Young), a fitness-obsessed gym manager who takes it upon himself to "fix" the lives of his members. Do Hyeon (Jung Eun Ji) runs a 24-hour gym, living and breathing healthily. Between managing his business and training clients, he’s caught in a tough battle to stay afloat in a competitive industry. Then there’s Lee Mi Ran, a travel agency planner with two defining traits: her love for food and her passionate pursuit of romance.

More news on upcoming K-drama series has been announced, such as:

  • Nice Woman Boo Se Mi!: A rom-com about a bodyguard entering a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman. After assuming a new identity, she meets a single father. Jeon Yeo Bin plays a bodyguard, and Jung Jin Young plays a single father. The series will be released in late 2025. 

  • Scandals: A remake of Untold Scandal, set in the Joseon era, following a seemingly loyal wife who engages in secret affairs. She meets a seductive scholar, leading to a dangerous love game. Ji Chang Wook stars as the scholar, with Son Ye Jin as the wife, with a release date in late 2025 on Netflix

  • Petty Love: A rom-com about an actor typecast in detective roles who clashes with a journalist moved to the entertainment beat. Oh Yeon Seo will star as the actor’s first love, and the series is considering hiring Lee Jung Jae (actor) and Lim Ji Yeon (journalist). It will be released in late 2025 on tvN.
