9th Annual Black Reel TV Awards Nominations

The nominations for the 9th Annual Black Reel TV Awards have officially been announced. The ceremony seeks to celebrate the best of Black talent across the television industry. The nominations, which were announced on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, cover 27 categories, spanning broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.
Leading across the categories is the Netflix series Forever, which has received 12 separate nominations, closely followed by ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary with 11, and the Peacock miniseries Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, with eight nominations. Amongst the actors and actresses to have received numerous nominations for their work are Colman Domingo, who recently starred in Netflix’s The Four Seasons and The Madness, Uzo Aduba, who has been nominated for her leading role in Hulu’s The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat and the Netflix comedy series The Residence, Natasha Rothwell, who recently appeared in How to Die Alone and The White Lotus, and Aldis Hodge, for his roles in Amazon’s Cross and Leverage: Redemption.
