Date Set For DGA Awards

A date has been set for next year’s Directors Guild of America Awards. The event is to be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

This will be the 78th such annual award recognizing talent and artistry within directing, from across film and television.

The event will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, the same location as this year’s ceremony earlier in 2025, which included among its winners RaMell Ross, for his work on Nickel Boys, as well as the hit TV series, Shogun.

Television Director Beth McCarthy-Miller has been confirmed as Chair for the event. “DGA Awards is a unique opportunity to celebrate excellence in our craft, and I could not be more honored,” she stated. “I thank DGA President Lesli Linka Glatter for appointing me to this role, and I look forward to celebrating with all of the incredible 2025 nominees and honorees.”
