Screen Actors Guild Awards

The Screen Actors Guild Awards has officially set a date for their 2026 Awards Ceremony, confirming that the ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Submissions for the SAG Awards season can be made from Monday, August 25, 2025, with the window remaining open until 5 PM PST on Monday, November 3, 2025. Actors and their representatives may nominate themselves for any of the categories listed, provided the relevant entries aired or premiered throughout 2025.

The first round of voting will be held from Monday, December 15, 2025, through 5 PM PST on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Nominations will be announced on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, with the window for final votes from Wednesday, January 14, 2026, through noon PST on Friday, February 27, 2026. More than 122,000 members of SAG-AFTRA will be eligible to be selected as nominees.

Among some of the biggest stars likely to be nominated are Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for The Smashing Machine, Oscar Isaac for Frankenstein, and Cynthia Erivo for the upcoming sequel to 2024’s hit, Wicked—Wicked: For Good.

This will mark the 32nd annual ceremony held by the SAG Awards and one of the most significant indicators for who may win at the Academy Awards, with it coming just two weeks before the most coveted awards ceremony of the season.

Expected to take place in Los Angeles, the awards ceremony will also be streamed live on Netflix at 8 PM EST/5 PST, as has been the case since 2024. The Screen Actors Guild has stated that all dates are subject to change.
