Honorees Announced For Culture Creators Brunch

The Culture Creators Awards Brunch, an annual event celebrating excellence, cultural influence, and storytelling, has announced the details and honorees for its return this year.
The event, which is in its ninth year, honors stars across music, media, fashion, sports, tech, and entertainment. This year’s event will be based around the theme of ‘The Stories We Tell’, and will seek to honor narratives that shape identity, preserve legacy, and light the path forward.
Amongst the honorees will be Larry Wilmore, who is set to receive the Icon Award for his long career as a comedian, writer, and actor for The Daily Show, The Nightly Show, Black-ish, and Insecure. Meanwhile, the actress and singer Keke Palmer will be receiving the Innovator Award, and the Media Award will be going to the noted television host and political commentator, Joy Reid.
Also amongst the honorees are the singer and actress Kandi Burruss, who will receive the Trailblazer Award, the actress/director Tasha Smith who receives the TV & Film Award, the music executive Tina Davis who will receive the Music Award, and the marketing executive Kimberly A. Blackwell, who will be receiving the Business Award.

The event is to be held at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 7, 2025. It is to be hosted by the journalist Gia Peppers and will feature a performance from the recording artist Alex Isley. It will be presented by Moët Hennessy and powered by Lexus.
